UAE launches National Genome Strategy in the presence of President, Vice-President

 

The Emirates Genome Council launched the National Genome Strategy in the presence of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai on Tuesday.


In the presence of the president, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Emirates Genome Council announced the National Genome Strategy.

The plan will deliver on the UAE’s public health priorities and improve welfare in the nation over the course of the next ten years by offering a complete framework of legislation and regulation to assist the creation and execution of genomic programs.

“Science and knowledge have always been key drivers of the development of the UAE,” stated Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The greatest healthcare and standard of living for our people are our top priorities.

The National Genome Strategy illustrates the nation’s progress, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
