Coast Guard: All occupants of the "Titan" are dead

Sad certainty: The occupants of the submersible that went missing in the Atlantic are dead. Debris was first found near the "Titanic" on Thursday.

The occupants of the submersible "Titan" are dead, the US Coast Guard announced on Thursday evening. According to this, debris from the submersible was found near the shipwreck of the "Titanic", which was the destination of the tourist boat.

There were five people on board the missing boat. 

Rescue teams had been feverishly searching for the boat in the past few days in order to save them. The area is around 650 kilometers off the Canadian province of Newfoundland, where the sea is around 3,800 meters deep.
