“LAST GENERATION” ANNOUNCES PROTESTS Söder warns Klima-Kleber of Bayern attack
The climate stickers continue - and want to paralyze Bavaria!
The radical activists of the "Last Generation" want to move their protest to Bavaria from Monday. The occasion is the ceremony on the island of Herrenchiemsee, where the constitutional convention is celebrated: In 1948, the foundation stone for the Basic Law was laid there.
The "last generation" sees this as the legitimacy for their adhesive protest. The crude reason: "We are taking to the streets in Bavaria because we are protesting against the federal government's breach of the constitution in the state where our constitution was written 75 years ago."
The activists did not announce exactly where and when which actions are planned. But one thing is clear: If the climate stickers implement their protest threat, it will cause inconvenience for many Bavarians.
The activists don't care: They accuse politicians of "defencelessly handing over humanity to the climate catastrophe" and want to demonstrate.
Now Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder (56, CSU) warns the radicals in BILD: "We say yes to climate protection, but no to climate stickers. In the rule of law there is no discount for the 'last generation'.”
︎ Söder clearly: "Anyone who commits criminal or administrative offenses and also endangers others must expect the full consequences of the rule of law in Bavaria."
Most recently, the District Court of Heilbronn (Baden-Württemberg) sentenced two men and one woman to prison terms of five, four and three months. It was the toughest verdict against radical climate activists that has been imposed in Germany so far.
Reason of the judges: The activists are incorrigible. Previously, they had blocked roads again a few hours after a conviction.
