UAE Stands with Lebanon: Zayed Foundation's AED 5M Aid to Support Over 25,000 Families

In a remarkable display of continued humanitarian efforts, the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has announced an additional AED 5 million in aid for Lebanon, as part of the ongoing "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign. This significant contribution is set to benefit over 25,000 families, which translates to approximately 125,000 individuals facing hardship during these difficult times.

This initiative reflects the UAE’s unwavering support for Lebanon, a nation that has faced considerable challenges in recent years. Under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed overseeing the campaign, the UAE is reaffirming its commitment to extending humanitarian aid to those in need, a value deeply rooted in its leadership and people.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, highlighted that this aid is a continuation of Sheikh Zayed’s legacy of compassion and international outreach. "This initiative is part of the UAE leadership's tireless efforts to assist countries facing difficult circumstances, as we uphold the values instilled by our Founding Father," Sheikh Nahyan remarked.

The Zayed Foundation has a longstanding history of providing assistance to Lebanon, having launched numerous initiatives in the past aimed at improving living conditions, enhancing healthcare access, and supporting education. This additional aid comes at a critical time when Lebanon's infrastructure and economic situation are strained, leaving many families in urgent need of basic resources.

Public support for the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign has been strong, aligning with the UAE’s deep-rooted values of helping those in need, as championed by the Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed. This outpouring of generosity reflects the spirit of unity and empathy that defines the UAE’s approach to global humanitarian issues.

The UAE’s dedication to alleviating suffering, fostering peace, and promoting wellbeing is a testament to its role as a leading nation in humanitarian diplomacy. As the Zayed Foundation continues its mission, this recent effort solidifies the UAE’s position as a beacon of hope and support for communities facing adversity.

In a world where crises are becoming increasingly complex, the UAE’s leadership remains committed to offering a helping hand, ensuring that Sheikh Zayed’s legacy of kindness continues to thrive, bringing hope and relief to those in need.
